Low FODMAP Pasta Sauce


Ingredients

  1. One 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes

  2. One 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes

  3. 1/2 cup water

  4. 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  5. 3 tbsp basil

  6. 1 tbsp dried oregano

  7. 1/2 tbsp of ground black pepper

  8. 1 tsp salt

  9. 1 tsp cumin


Directions

  1. In pot combine whole peeled tomatoes and olive oil

  2. Simmer on high for 5 minutes stirring occasionally

  3. Add 1/2 cup of water and continue cooking on high for 10-12 minutes

  4. Add can of diced tomatoes while on high heat and stir

  5. Add in all seasonings

  6. Take off stove, wait 15 mins, and blend to desired consistency

  7. Serve as desired - I am a big fan of serving with thick spaghetti or zoodles!
