Low FODMAP Pasta Sauce
Ingredients
One 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes
One 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 tbsp of ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
Directions
In pot combine whole peeled tomatoes and olive oil
Simmer on high for 5 minutes stirring occasionally
Add 1/2 cup of water and continue cooking on high for 10-12 minutes
Add can of diced tomatoes while on high heat and stir
Add in all seasonings
Take off stove, wait 15 mins, and blend to desired consistency
Serve as desired - I am a big fan of serving with thick spaghetti or zoodles!
